we can name.

We source and roast coffee from single farms, estates and cooperatives — travelling to meet the people who grow it, so we know exactly where every coffee on our counter comes from.

On the counter now

Four of the sixteen coffees on our counter this week.

Coffee is seasonal — we buy small lots from many farms, so when one runs out we move straight on to the next. Every coffee is available to taste in our shops before you buy.

Why it tastes different

We travel to buy the coffee, not just import it.

We visit the producers and cooperatives we work with throughout the year — tasting on site, learning about their processing and the challenges they face, and buying directly rather than through a blind broker chain. Where that relationship exists, quality, quantity and price can be discussed openly and fairly.

We call it sustainable, fair and equal trade — not because of a certification sticker, but because we can name the farm, the region and usually the person who grew what's in your cup.

No disposable cups. Not one.

Every takeaway is your own cup, a £5-deposit Monmouth loan cup, or ceramic to stay — around half a million single-use cups and lids kept out of landfill every year.
